Just the day after I finished my 2nd-semester exam, my computer broke down. The SSD just crashed leaving me clueless about how to attend the new semester’s class. It was a big worry then given the fact that there was a country-wide lockdown. However, I then started searching for some online gadget stores and placed an order for a new SSD. After three days, I received the product. I really felt a bit relieved and started compiling my PC. As I was doing the setup, suddenly it stopped. I thought it could be some error in the process, so I tried again. But the reality was the product was faulty, so it wasn’t working. I contacted the store again. They told me to send the SSD to them, they will replace it. Then I parcelled it right away. Three days passed, I got no response from them. When I called, they said that they didn’t receive the parcel yet. I inquired with the courier company, they had no clue so far. I visited their office, they said that the parcel could’ve been missing. Furthermore, I came back home disheartened. After a while, I received a call from the courier, and they informed me that the store didn’t receive the product, although it reached there in time.
I again called that store, and they told me of looking into it. The next day, the store confirmed receiving the product. In this while, 8 days are gone. The next day, the store called to inform me that they found nothing wrong with the product and suggested if I could bring my PC to them so that they can try setting it up. I was utterly hopeless hearing that and went to check in a local store to buy a new one. I brought it home and set my computer up, and it worked this time. Ten days passed in this hassle of SSD, I ended up spending twice on a product. As a bonus, there were countless phone calls back & forth and a waste of precious time. However, my PC is running now which is a relief as I can attend classes properly. And I have had a life lesson of buying
